Sevagram in association with Sahrudaya service charity observed ‘senior citizen day’ and inaugurated senior citizen forum on 2nd October 2012 at Sevagram auditorium. Fr Jose Alex Oruthayppally, Provincial S.H. province, Cochin, inaugurated the programme. Fr Jose Cletus Plackal, counselor, Social Work Department, S.H. province Cochin was presided over the function. Twenty neighbouring senior citizens of Sevagram participated in the programme. We decided to conduct the meeting of senior citizens on first Sundays of every month. Sevagram will be an avenue for social interaction of Senior citizen through this programme.

Anu Joseph who successfully completed her plus two got admission for General Nursing at Lissy nursing School Ernakulam. Her class will begin on October 1st 2012. We all wish you a happiest congratulations and best wishes for her studies.
