About Us

Sevagram is a registered charitable institution established on 4th October, 1989 under the Indian Trust Act of 1882 for the cause of orphans, the terminally ill and for the senior citizens.

It owes its origin to the contribution of Late Mathew J Kollamparambil who donated 23 acres of his land to the Sacred Heart Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), Rajagiri, Kalamassery. It is situated at Pothy, near Thalayolaparambu, Kottayam District.
